Wanting to Mentor?
WE’RE ON THE JOB!
Mentors
Do you want to connect with Alpha Sigma? The Mentor Program, established for Alpha Sigma's Centennial Celebration in October 2013, is a way to do so. Those Theta women out in the working world are paired up with junior and senior collegians based on what they are studying and what they are looking to do after graduation. You do not need to be local to the State of Washington to mentor--many of our mentor/mentee pairs are long distance!
Mentors will be paired with one or more Alpha Sigmas juniors or seniors who are studying in your professional field. You will be available for advice and tips to help our Alpha Sigma actives find employment in their field of study. This could include:
-
Information about networking
-
Informational interviewing
-
Resume and cover letter review
-
Internships contacts
-
Employment contacts
-
Your advice and ideas about how to become a successful professional

"Bailey and I have connected and I think it's interesting that she just got accepted to LCSC nursing school in Lewiston and my husband and I just moved to Lewiston for his job. She and I plan to hopefully meet face to face and I am searching the community for roommate opportunities for her as she moves here."

"Loved mentoring – had two wonderful mentees who contacted me and we met a few times each. Kellyn and Katie… Kellyn is actively interviewing in Seattle and Katie just received an internship at T-Mobile. GO Sisterhood."
