Mary Bocek Comstock '80
Mary is a librarian and manages librarian services for the King County Library System.
Major: Political Science/Public Administration from WSU, Master of Library and Information Science from...okay, the UW.
Fun Fact: Mary is an original 12th woman, attending Seahawks games since 1976. GO HAWKS!
Favorite Room in the Mansion: Phi Tau Flash
Fun Theta Fact: Despite popular rumor, Mary is NOT the one who did sleeping porch wake up call in a gorilla mask.

Jami Harrison Slaton '03
Jami is a Gift Officer for the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation and works remotely in Bothell, WA.
Fun Fact: For almost five years, Jami lived in "Cook's House" next door to to the Theta Mansion while working for WSU.
Favorite Room in the Mansion: Solitary Confinement...while it is now a storage closet, that was her first room in Theta house in 2004.
Fun Theta Fact: Jami and her mom both had Mrs. Smith as their House Mother. She worked at Alpha Sigma for 30 years!

Taunia is a business major working in supply chain management.

Sarah Comstock '08
Sarah is the Corporate and Foundation Relations Specialist for the King County Library System Foundation.
Major: Communications, Public Relations
Fun Fact: Sarah has held a koala in Australia, kissed the Blarney stone in Ireland, drank espresso in Paris, eaten fish and chips in London...she is quite the wanderlusting traveler. Sarah's also a published writer!
Favorite Room in the Mansion: Pledge Ed and Standards
Fun Theta Fact: Sarah traveled full-time as an Educational Leadership Consultant for Kappa Alpha Theta from 2013-2014 and visited 40 Theta chapters across North America. Ask her about the program if you are interested!

Alexis Teachout-Nickles '03
Alexis is a Hematology/Oncology Registered Nurse at St. Joseph Cancer Center.
Major: Science Biology (Bachelors) and Associates Degree, Nursing
Fun Fact: Alexis is expecting her first baby on July 1st.
Favorite Theta Room: Phi Tau Flash
Fun Theta Fact: Alexis and her younger sister were roommates every semester during their years together in Theta.

Jane Smith Dimer '81
Jane is a physician specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Jane also works in medical administration and is an Associate Professor. Jane speaks on women's health issues for the United States Department of State. Jane is also a mom to two sons.
Fun Fact: Jane has two younger sisters who are also Alpha Sigmas.
Fun Theta Fact: Jane was nominated to be VP Efficiency (now CAO) during the semester that she was studying abroad in Denmark, before Skype, email and international calls. The chapter wrote an international snail mail letter asking her if she would like to accept the position (she said yes).

Quincy Thomas '09
Quincy is a Catering and Conference Services Coordinator at The Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Downtown Seattle
Major: Hospitality Business Management
Fun Fact: Quincy loves scaring poeple. She once "borrowed" a doll from Alpha Tau Omega's haunted house, named it "Girl" and it (as well as she) became infamous for scaring Thetas and people all over Greek row.
Favorite room in the Mansion: Pledge-Ed with Sarah Comstock. They would spend all day and night binge watching Wedding Crashers, Titanic, Friday Night Lights, and Lost!

Katie Barker '98
Katie is a publicist and currently works as Vice President for CBS Entertainment Communications working on NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans.

Favorite Room in the Mansion: Pike's Peak
Fun Theta Fact: Katie is a travel and adventure enthusiast and even on a packed business trip she will spend any free time she has being a tourist in the city in which she finds herself.

Kendra Demaris '01
Kendra is a member of the clinical faculty at the University of Hawaii, Hilo College of Pharmacy. She teaches a variety of courses including Drug Information and Integrated Theraputics. In addition to teaching, Kendra also practices at Hilo Medical Center in the Intensive Care Unit.
Major: Zoology
Fun Fact: Kendra loves to makes jam in the summer and fall and then enjoys it all year long.
Favorite Room in the Mansion: The itty-bitty room/closet with no window on the second floor (now known as Solitary Confinement). It was the first room Kendra lived in with her big sis and she loved it.

Sue Manley Mecham '77
Sue joined us for Career Day in 2015. Rest in Peace dear Sue, your Theta sisters miss you every day.
Major: BA Business/Marketing
Fun fact: Sue met her best friend (who was the Kappa Delta president) during senior year and they lived together while in the Bon Marche executive training program.
Favorite room in the Mansion: The privilege of living in the president’s room at the top of the stairs is still a fond memory. Second place goes to Phi Tau Flash!
Theta fact: After Sue pledged she found out that her father’s cousin and aunt were also Thetas.

Lisa Pearson '99 (Whitman, Delta Delta)
Lisa pledged in 1999 at Whitman College. She is a vet at WSU with specialties in reproductive medicine and surgery.
Fun Fact: Lisa has two off-track Thoroughbred horses who keep her on her toes!!
Fun Theta Fact: At Whitman, they had an unofficial Theta mascot, an orange tabby cat named Linus. Lisa says they called him Scary KAT!

Axie Dompier '09
Axie is a 4th grade teacher in the Lake Washington School District.
Major: Education
Fun Fact: Axie has had over 24 teeth pulled, has a tattoo, she loves anything Disney, and she loves running.
Favorite Theta Room: Penthouse
Theta Fact: Axie lived in Theta for 6 semesters and had 3 different positions

Joni Gilbert '80
Joni is an Enterprise Corporate Account Manager for Avalara, a cloud based, sales tax software company and she manages strategic relationships with global companies.
Fun Fact: Joni is writing a book with her six year old son.
Favorite Room in the Mansion: L-shape and the TV room
Theta Fact: Never kissed in the vestibule. Still crave cinnamon toast at midnight. My Theta sisters are my Board of Directors for Life.

Debbie Barnes '79
Debbie is a Facility Property Management Coordinator for Energy Northwest. She manages two office buidlings near WSU Tri-Cities in Richland. Debbie also has an MA in Organizational Leadership.
Major: Interior Design
Favorite Room in the Mansion: Crow's Nest
Theta Fun Fact: Debbie loved her college years so much that she was really sad to graduate. When all her sisters were looking forward to careers, moving to new places, etc. she was distraught that life as an active in the Theta house was coming to an end! To any actives feeling the same way as graduation nears, Debbie promises your relationships with your sisters will stay strong and you will continue to have many great times together throughout your life!

Mary Lux Stumph '84
Mary is an Oncology Market Manager with Eli Lilly & Co. She graduated in 1988 with a degree in Pharmacy.
Major: Pharmacy
Fun Fact: A fellow Theta sister, Jill Kerrick, turned Mary onto Pharmacy during her sophomore year, walked her to the Pharmacy building and signed her up. Mary had to call her parents and ask them if it was okay to be in a five year program. She's so lucky to have had a great Theta sister in that field!
Favorite room in the Mansion: Ironing Board! It was her second move sophomore year. A lot of girls were living in the house and in order to make more room, the Ironing Board closet was turned into a room. It was a great experience and due to the location, numerous sisters ended up sitting outside the door, chatting and catching up on their days!

Melissa Shaub '98
Melissa is the Director of Education and Leadership for Kappa Alpha Theta.
Major: Psychology
Fun Fact: Melissa completed her second half marathon this year and is considering signing up for a full marathon (gulp!)

Ann Westbrook Harrison '79
Ann worked for Nordstrom in corporate HR. After her second child was born Ann chose to leave her position and become a stay at home mom. She continues to utilize her AMT design skills creating wedding apparel and many other projects.
Major: Apparel Merchandising and Textiles
Fun Fact: After graduation Ann worked for a bridal wear designer in Seattle.
Favorite Room in the Mansion: "Has to be the rec room where we drank way too much TAB and watched General Hospital and All My Children."
Fun Theta Fact: Theta has become even more important to me as the years go by. After 30 years, my best friends are still Thetas!

Pauline McNabb Soehren '79
Pauline is a nurse practitioner working in cardiology at the Rockwood Clinic in Spokane. Pauline has a Masters of Nursing and a Post-Masters Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate.
Major: Nursing
Favorite Room in the Mansion: Rec room, lots of fun times with Theta sisters.
Theta Fun Fact: While she didn't get either of her daughters to go to WSU, Pauline's niece, Masidon, is a now an Alpha Sigma active.
